OPPORTUNITY
Remember the art of the mixtape? The ritual of deciding which songs to share and in what order, then timing each intro and outro so the finished product flowed just right? The mixtape was more than a playlist. It was a powerful device that allowed you to communicate a series of emotions by tapping a wide range of musical artists and genres. This was the ethos behind the Life on Tape band, and we needed a logo and poster series to fit it.

PROCESS
Channeling art styles from the 70s, 80s and 90s was a must in creating the logo and colors. Once I established a vintage shape and style, I aimed to create each poster to fit the mood of the show based on the atmosphere and songs we had in our queue. Although the posters each feel unique, the cohesive element was always the bold logomark.
